day 36

A day has passed after I arrvied from Singapore. Woke up feeling fine, just that the house is kind of quiet. Met up with my sis and went cycling with her from ECP to Singapore Flyer, have to exercise everyday or not I will just become round once again. Today is actually just like any other day that I would have spent my life in Singapore, so luckily I went to Wuhan and enjoyed my life there and of course clearing some modules. Tomorrow still have to study my diploma+ and according to qiu yan, there's orientation.hmmm....

day 35

All good things come to an end. Really very hard to say goodbye to my friends in wuhan and friends that i made during the trip. During the night,no one slept till around 4am. The next day we woke at 9am and got prepared to leave the school back to singapore. 2 of the students which we are close to followed us to the airport, upon arriving, we said our goodbyes to them and they went back with the bus. What a sad scene, the 2 students cried their way home on the bus. As usual, we took the plane to canton and back to singapore. When we got back to singapore, we were happy to see our family there frantically waving to us. We said our goodbyes and went with our parents back home. Once I got home, I immediately went to unpack and went straight to my room. Ahhh, the sitting toilet bowl and the strong jet of water from the shower head and the best of all.... MY BED! After bathing, went up to watch tv and use my Imac. I miss those 2 items too :D but come to think of it, all the craziness and happiness that I felt during thes 35 days will be gone and I will really miss it. Running into other rooms and screaming across rooms will be a thing of the past and I would just wake up to a quiet environment the next morning..

day 34

The last day in wuhan. 5 weeks just flew pass in a blink of an eye. New bonds were formed and now that we are going to part from each other, we feel kind of sad. I spent the day going out with the 3 girls again to guang gu to shop for my shoe. In the end, the girls did more shopping than me. I only took 10 minutes to buy 2 pairs of shoe while they took forever to shop for their accessories. How expected. After shopping went to walmart to had the girl's nails done together with she hui. Again, it took a long time before their nails dried up and finally the day ended. Nothing much to blog about because the time for us to part is getting nearer and nearer and I have mixed emotions, to be happy or not to be.

day 33

Yawns, its 9 already..Time to wake up..Huh?no one awake, dunno whether is anyone going out or not.9.30 still no one awake. Finally saw bo kang waking up. He told me that he actually overslept and that we were supposed to meet at 9. In the end all the dilly-dallying made us leave the school at 10.30. Today's special guest was she hui and we took extra careful with her when she travelled with us, just to make sure she does not get injured or what not. We went to mouse street, and guess what? All the things there were for women ._. WHYYYYYYYYY. In the end the guys just followed the girls around while they shop for their clothes. It was around 4+ that we decided to have a late lunch at KFC. Right after that we tried to take a taxi but it was really really hard to find one. In the end me issac and she hui went on the taxi first and the rest waited for around 45 minutes before the next available taxi came. When we reached xu dong, the 3 of us settled down in macs and waited for the rest to arrive. Not long after we proceeded to the german buffet right opposite the walmart. It took us a pretty long time to accompany she hui to walk that long road to food. In the end we made it and some of our classamtes were there already. We had a very fun time eating and there was laughter all around the place. After eating, we went either to paint nails or to shop for food. I spent close to 100 rmb on buying food for my family in sg. Finally done with shopping for my loved ones back in sg heh heh. At last we all went back to our dorms with lots of snacks and food.

day 32

THE FINAL EXAMS for the CTCM module. WHOOHOOOO..At first when we got the paper, we were really shocked at the questions given by Dr teoh,its really really hard. Anyway we did the paper and handed it in after an hour or so. After that me and the girls together with bo kang and the girls went to had the hair done. First time stepping into a salon, kind of atas. They had their hair washed and deng yi had her hair straightened while bo kang and qiu yan had their hair dyed. 360 degrees transformation after the hairdo. By the time we done with everything, it was almost 5 and we decided to head to hu bu xiang. The girls did their shopping till 8+ before we went to take our lunch. It was pretty fun and all the haggling and stuff. We had our fill and saw the whole gang of LMGT students, said hi and moved on to get more food. In all, I just spent 30 rmb at the area. While the girls spent a few hundred. Big spenders... After everything we just went back, and the moment I got on my bed, I went to dreamland due to the fact that I've been out the whole day.

day 31

3 sleepless nights already. Should take gingko biloba tonight to improve my memory for tomorrow's test. I am left with 4 more days before I go back to my home sweet home. After all these days, it feels very sad that we are just going back to singapore after such a short time. but as gracia would say don't cry because its over, smile because it happened. In the morning, Meiling's gang and me went to accompany she hui for her checkup. We realised that the hospitals conditions in China is really not up to standard and that the doctors in the hospital really do not look like one. Polo tee with jeans and sneakers. There are beds outside of the wards to accomdate extra patients and I really think that its not a good idea due to the fact that they have no privacy and it is very noisy in the cramped corridors. From what I observe in wuhan, there is not enough clinics to treat the minor ailments and all the patients just go to the A&E ward to have their illnesses checked out. It really slows down the whole flow of the hospital, doctors are having their time wasted on patients having cough or flu. We took around 1hour before getting the doctor to come look at she hui, he told us that she just needs surgery and other than that, everything's fine. After coming back, I fell asleep till 3 in the afternoon where I quickly rushed through my project and handing it at around 5,before the deadline at 6. After that had dinner with some of my classmates and here I am now blogging on what happened today. Tomorrow's going to be exam and after that, fun fun fun!

day 30

*talking noises*
"Whats that noise man?"
"We got locked out of our room"
" WHAT?!?"
Thats what happened to gracia and gang. Apparently they got locked out of their room after the movie marathon. All 3 keys all stuck inside the room. Its 1am and there is no one to call for help. We tried all ways to open the door but to no avail. The guys decided that the girls got to get a room and sleep somehow, so Issac decided that me and him should sleep on the ground while the girls occupy our bed. I agreed with what he said and the girls moved into the room and fell asleep not long after that. In the morning, the girls moved back into their room after mrs tang came over to open the door. Me and Issac quickly lie on our beds and catch a short nap before going for our rehearsal. In the afternoon after the rehearsal, we went to play some games held by the WUST students, pretty fun but think that it can be improved. We returned to our dorms to have more rest before our cultural exchange night. During the night, we danced and sung songs with the china students and everyone really enjoyed themselves. All things come to an end and the party ended on a high note. We went back to our own dorms and started on our OIE reflection which was due tomorrow. I started playing angry birds and watched Nikita throughout the whole night. In the end, I didn't accomplish anything. What a wasted night!
