Day 2

So, what happened on day 2?I slept at 4am yesterday, so i was very tired today. In the early morning, we had our canteen cards issued to us, it works like a debit card, we can only spend depending how much money we put in. The breakfast was at 7, so we didn't managed to eat breakfast. We had a scrumptious brunch, will let you guys see the photo soon! Its really really really really delicious. It costs around $6 SGD. I managed to make some china friends too, and they are quite warm, friendly and amiable too :) totally the opposite of what i have sterotyped them to be. It really gives me a different perspective of how china students are. I realised that we are really fortunate to live in a hostel with heater and air-con. The rest of the students do not have any such nice facilities. They would have to really layer up, or not they'll just shiver in the night. In the afternoon, the weather turned hotter, so we just took off our jackets, but when the wind blows in our direction, we would shiver!(how obvious) Anyway, we did alot of shopping today as it is our orientation day and tomorrow is the start of our lessons already. Hope we will get to love TCM and complementary medicine. Last but not least, we got our new china phone number. So thats pretty much what happened today, stay tuned for more happening things!
